Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Snapvia website and its download service (“Snapvia”, “we” or “us”). By using Snapvia, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and the law must allow you to use the service. If you use Snapvia for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf.
Snapvia is an independent tool. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
What Snapvia does
You paste the link to a public Instagram post, Reel, carousel, or profile, and Snapvia gives you the photos and videos it contains. For a profile, that means its most recent posts. Snapvia can’t download Stories or Highlights. You don’t need an account, and Snapvia never asks for your Instagram username or password.
Snapvia only reaches content that anyone can view without logging in. It can’t download content from private accounts or posts limited to followers. Snapvia doesn’t host Instagram content. Each file comes from Instagram’s servers and passes through Snapvia on its way to your device.
Using Snapvia responsibly
Use Snapvia for your own content, or for content you have permission to download and use. You are responsible for what you download and for what you do with it afterward.
You may not:
- break the law or Instagram’s rules while using Snapvia
- download content in a way that violates someone’s privacy or intellectual property rights
- get around rate limits, bot checks, or other protections on the service
- send automated or bulk requests, or use Snapvia to collect other people’s content at scale
- probe, disrupt, or overload Snapvia or the systems it connects to
Instagram content and copyright
Photos, videos, captions, and other material on Instagram belong to the people who posted them or to their licensors. Snapvia doesn’t own that content, claims no rights in it, and doesn’t review it before you download it. Downloading a file from Snapvia doesn’t give you any right to use it.
Reposting, editing, or selling someone else’s work without their permission can infringe their copyright and can break Instagram’s rules. Whether a particular use is lawful depends on where you live and what you do with the file. If you’re unsure, ask the creator.
Snapvia doesn’t store Instagram content, so we can’t remove anything from Instagram. To have a post taken down, report it to Instagram or ask the account owner. If you believe someone is using Snapvia to infringe your rights, send us the link to the post and explain the problem. We may block that link or restrict access in response.
Limits and availability
Snapvia depends on other services. To find the photos and videos behind a link, we send the link to a third-party extraction service, and we then fetch the files from Instagram’s servers. Instagram changes often, so downloads sometimes fail. We can’t promise that a particular link, file, or quality will work.
To keep Snapvia usable for everyone, we limit how many requests one visitor can make per minute, we cap the size of the files we deliver, and we may add other checks, such as a bot check. Download links expire after a short time. If one expires, paste the Instagram link again to get a new one.
We may change, pause, or end any part of Snapvia at any time.
Third-party services
Instagram, the extraction service, and the other providers named in our Privacy Policy run independently of us. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or policies. Your use of Instagram is covered by Instagram’s own terms. If Snapvia links to another website, we don’t control or endorse it.
Our content and name
The Snapvia name and logo, the website’s design, and its software belong to us or our licensors. Open-source components stay under their own licenses.
We give you a personal, limited permission to use Snapvia as intended. You may not copy, mirror, or resell the service, remove ownership notices from it, or use the Snapvia name in a way that suggests we endorse you or are affiliated with you.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes what Snapvia collects when you use it and how that information is handled. By using Snapvia, you also accept the Privacy Policy.
No warranties
Snapvia is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Snapvia will be uninterrupted or error free, or that downloads will be complete, accurate, or of any particular quality.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, that come from your use of Snapvia, your inability to use it, or what you do with files you download. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
You are responsible for your own use of Snapvia. If someone makes a claim against us because you broke these terms, the law, or someone else’s rights, you agree to cover our reasonable losses from that claim, as far as the law allows.
Suspension and ending use
You can stop using Snapvia at any time. We may limit, block, or end your access, without notice, if we believe you have broken these terms, put the service or other people at risk, or used Snapvia in a way the law doesn’t allow. We may apply a block to a link or to a network address.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Snapvia after an update, you accept the updated terms, so check this page now and then.
General terms
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about Snapvia. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else.
